Chris Farrell, Marketplace Money

Chris Farrell is economics editor and finance expert for Marketplace Money, a one-hour weekly personal finance call-in show produced and syndicated nationally by American Public Media. Farrell is also economics correspondent for Marketplace, Marketplace Morning Report, American RadioWorks and Minnesota Public Radio. Beyond radio, Farrell is the author of three books, including his latest, The New Frugality: How to Consume Less, Save More, and Live Better (Bloomsbury Press, 2009). He is a contributing editor with Business Week and a weekly columnist for the Minneapolis Star Tribune. From 1998 to 2004, Farrell was executive editor and host of the public television series Right on the Money. A graduate of Stanford University and the London School of Economics, Farrell now lives in St. Paul, Minnesota.
