FCS announces donation to the Red Cross Haiti Earthquake Fund

With unanimous support from our Board of Directors, the FCS has today announced a $1,000 donation to the Red Cross Haiti Earthquake Fund.

“We hope that our modest donation inspires all FCS members, as well as the entire financial services community, to respond generously to this tragic crisis in Haiti,” said Kevin Windorf, President, Financial Communications Society. “The philanthropic efforts of the FCS have traditionally focused on children’s causes, and when we considered the physical and emotional impact the earthquake has had, and will continue to have, on the children of Haiti, we could only hope that our donation might become a gesture echoed a hundredfold by our community.”
